It is a world torn by ancient hatreds and machinations by beings far more powerful than any man could even imagine...yet it is still in that man's hands that the fate of all may rest.

Starlit Nights started in the year 2001 when I decided to take my role-playing buddies through some adventures I had in my mind. During that campaign it became evident that a world had started to manifest, what later became the world of Starlit Nights.

Many years have passed since then but Starlit Nights is still a world in production, at least in the material form. There are still many aspects of it I have thought about and keep only to myself, much to the frustration of my friends...

The story of Starlit Nights up till now is divided between the two Role-Playing campaigns "Evils Unleashed" and "By Blood or by Deed", this here web comic and small pieces I have written over the time. Everything is connected somehow and some of the characters in the other stories might yet appear into the web comic.

In the end it's all just one big song...

The idea behind the comic came during a night walk...and the idea was simple. A man standing on top of a steep cliff, sunset behind him, thinking of what he had just done. Of'course it wasn't just that but I can't tell you the whole thing now, can I?

I always start thinking of stories by two points, the beginning and the end. The whole mess in the middle will be sorted out eventually; it is in fact just the how we got from one point to the other.

So what was to be done with such a story? I had done some comics in the past but nothing that greatly satisfied me. But this was the great opportunity! I could tell my story, while honing my skills and having fun at the same time! You can't let such an opportunity just slide. I spend some months preparing the story, doing character sketches, abandoning ideas and learning what I could of the field...

In 18th of October 2004 the story started...it's been a year since then...we hope they'll be many more!

To start things off, my name is Gerasimos though most people would call me Makis and among a select few I am known as Black Fox. Well, it's a nick name I picked for myself when I thought it would be kinda original! Greetings to the other 5.789 Black Foxes out there!!

I've not studied art in the slightest except for the occasional book I might have read. I am actually a student of computer science. I started drawing things at about the age of 7 when someone taught me the basics...the basics being the stick figures...

In my free time and when I am not busy planning to take over the world, I usually read books (right now I am trying to finish the Wheel of Time series...), run the Starlit Nights campaigns and hang out with those who can still endure my company. Lately I have also been trapped in World of Warcraft...if anyone knows the way out please help me...
