The days of a young Andeal as an aspiring thief in Garan'tal's Thieves’ guild. As his test to prove himself grows near he discovers a library in the middle of the Guild! There he meets with a mysterious librarian who tells him of a long forgotten story. Andeal learns no more though as he has to leave for his testing.

Accompanied by four more experienced thieves for his protection, the raid still goes awry due to the duplicity of one of them, Trans. Trans tries to murder Andeal but fails as he is miraculously saved by a priest.

He is then convinced to leave the Guild and travel on his own in search for his true calling.

Five years pass and Andeal grows into a young man all the time hunted because of his escape. It is at this time that he meets two mercenaries, Moen and Enell, and decides to help them. Moen and Enell were trying to meet a Half-elf seer but fell into an ambush. Convinced that the seer was but a ruse, they leave.

Andeal meets the Half-elf who seems to know about his past. Andeal grows frustrated of people knowing so much about him when the Half-elf leaves without an explanation. He decides to watch Moen and Enell to gain information about the seer.

Meanwhile a caravan approaches the city and deals are made about it's protection.

Andeal offers his help to Moen and Enell and joins their quest. Both of them though are suspicious of Andeal's motives but are prepared to give him a chance. Moen explains that they are looking for the Osca fe Zwanale and presents the letter to Andeal. Andeal finds out that he can read it but doesn’t know how!

At that moment the caravan is crashing through the streets under the inn and Moen is compelled to jump on itl! Andeal helps him and they manage to save the girl that was in the wagon. Andeal sees that they know nothing that could help him and considers leaving. He stays though and tells them that the letter is holding hints on the location of the Osca fe Zwanale so they decide to head out and search for it tomorrow. Phares, the girl from the caravan joins them.

Meranen, the librarian Andeal met during his last day in the guild, does research on the Ancient Wars when he is interrupted by Vish'ran of the Circle. This brings up memories of the events that led to the great search of the Osca fe Zwanale and the visit of the Prophet.

Twenty two years ago Nadain of the Circle had a vision that a great Spirit of evil would visit them and bring forth their destruction. It was Doomrow, the Prophet, who visited the Circle walking through the defenses against him! He convinced the Circle that the vision was misinterpreted and he was only bringing about the destruction of the followers of the Pantheon. He gave them instructions and granted them the power to find the Osca fe Zwan in order to use it for the revival of the Dragongods.

On the present, Vish’ran asks Meranen to abandon the Thieves’ Guild and join them in for a meeting. Meranen though plans to find Andeal and asks Nathelom to help him.
